Appointment & Cancellation Policy

At Paper Chaser LLC, appointment times are reserved specifically for each client. Many appointments require travel, scheduling coordination, document preparation, printing, and turning away other appointment requests.
We understand that plans can change, and we will always do our best to accommodate reasonable schedule changes. However, last-minute cancellations and no-shows may be subject to a cancellation fee.
Cancellation Fees
More than 4 hours before your appointment:
No cancellation fee.
Less than 4 hours before your appointment:
A $50 cancellation fee may apply.
Cancellation after the notary has begun traveling to the appointment:
The scheduled travel/service fee, up to $85, may be charged.
No-show or cancellation upon arrival:
The full scheduled service fee may be charged.
Same-Day & Last-Minute Appointments
For appointments booked less than 4 hours in advance, the standard 4-hour cancellation window does not apply. Once a same-day or last-minute appointment has been confirmed and the time has been reserved, a cancellation fee of $50 may apply if the appointment is subsequently cancelled.
If the notary has already begun traveling to the appointment, the applicable travel/service fee may be charged.
Rescheduling
Whenever possible, clients may reschedule instead of cancelling. If reasonable notice is provided and the appointment is rescheduled promptly, the cancellation fee may be waived at our discretion.
Printing & Special Preparation
Any printing, document preparation, parking, tolls, or other special expenses incurred specifically for an appointment may still be charged if the appointment is cancelled after those expenses have been incurred.
Exceptions
We understand that genuine emergencies and unexpected circumstances happen. Cancellation fees may be waived at the discretion of Paper Chaser LLC depending on the circumstances.
By scheduling and confirming an appointment with Paper Chaser LLC, you acknowledge and agree to this Appointment & Cancellation Policy.
